It is fair to say that the number one pastime for the Chinese is eating. Have you notice the parties going on in the private rooms of the Chinese Restaurants? Chinese banquet is for special occasions, Chinese New Year, birthday... etc.. This Chinese Banquet is to celebrate New Year. There is no host.
