FINE LINES FOR SKINNY TIMES By EDWARD NYIKES
"Large
scale pencil drawings involve and engage my senses in ways that other
things can't. Drawing lines is a new experience each and every time.
While in the act of drawing there is always the possibility for chance
and the unknown; I like that. I am taking my holidays from work to
dedicate myself to this exhibition. Creating the work during the
exhibition will make these drawings site specific and of a performative
nature. These drawings are not representational; they deal with process
and all the good things that come from repetition and redundancy. Work
