In 1991, Rancid joined the neo-punk scene in the San Francisco Bay
area. Strongly influenced by the Clash, the band has proven to be a
significant part of the 90’s punk revival. In 1995, the album “And Out
Come the Wolves” became a platinum success and established the band as
a prominent presence in the modern rock scene. Rancid is perhaps best
known for hits such as “Ruby Soho,” “Time Bomb” and “Roots Radical.”
