MIKE BULLARD

Mike Bullard (born June 12, 1957 in Etobicoke, Ontario, Canada) is the former host of the late-night talk shows Open Mike with Mike Bullard on CTV and The Mike Bullard Show on Global. His ability to draw spontaneous humor from the audience is his trademark and his easy-going, self-deprecating, acerbic banter have made him one of the country's favorite personalities.  Currently, Mike is making people laugh across the nation on television and at live performances.  His clean and impromptu comedy routines and extraordinary ability to read an audience makes him ideally suited to a conference setting.

Bullard, a native of Mississauga, Ontario, was employed with Bell Canada and worked part-time as a stand-up comic before becoming the host of Open Mike. In 2003, Bullard's contract with CTV expired and he signed a multi-year deal with Global, the network on which he would host The Mike Bullard Show. However, it was cancelled on March 12, 2004 after getting lower than expected ratings. This was partly a result of the fact after Bullard left CTV, his time slot was filled with The Daily Show with Jon Stewart, which quickly eclipsed his show in popularity within Canada.

Bullard made a cameo appearance at the Gemini Awards; he took part in a skit in which he played a "corpse" who was about to be removed. He stood up at the last moment and proclaimed "I'm not dead yet!".

Announced on October 18, 2006, Mike Bullard hosted an uncensored morning radio show on XM Canada. The debut was Monday, October 23rd on Laugh attack (channel 153 on XM Radio), reaching both the US and Canada. However, the show was cancelled by XM Radio in early March 2007.
